Sweat Those Toxins Out

Updated: Mar 15

Sweat those toxins out! I love a good sauna session. It might sound crazy, but I love to visualize the toxins sweating away. I always start my workouts with a quick 5-minute session and then after my workout, I like to do 15-20 minutes.

Here are some benefits of a good sauna session:

Relaxation

Saunas can help relax your muscles and promote an overall sense of relaxation. The heat stimulates the production of endorphins, which are your body’s natural stress relievers.

Improved Circulation

The heat from the sauna causes your blood vessels to dilate, improving blood circulation. Better circulation can have positive effects on your cardiovascular system.

Pain Relief

Saunas can provide temporary relief from muscle and joint pain, such as arthritis or sore muscles, by increasing blood flow to these areas.

Detoxification

Sweating in a sauna can aid in the detoxification process by helping your body expel toxins through sweat.

Skin Health

Saunas can cleanse your skin by opening up pores and promoting better circulation to the skin’s surface, which can contribute to a healthier complexion.

Improved Respiratory Function

Some people find relief from respiratory issues like congestion or mild asthma symptoms after spending time in a sauna.
